Motor Update
The motor seems to be runing much better! We took the boat to Cowan this weekend and did some extended motoring. It did stall once, but this was after a long run at full throttle (I think I ran it a bit too hard and it overheated). Looks like the fuel mix and the gas cap were the culprits!

Yep, the motor was MUCH better than the past few times. Now we just need to get some better winds! I'm up for exploring another lake sometime just to see what's out there! Especially Erie in a Hunter 235. :)
You definitely want to do a bit of sailing on some big water. There's nothing like reaching for a couple of hours in steady wind both to and from some cool destination!
You may want to consider richening the fuel screw at the carb if you find the motor running hot. Often 2 strokes are run a little lean to keep from fouling spark plugs, but they run a little hotter that way. Just a thought.
Happy motoring! ... andd happier sailing!
